Davy, Hilltop are close to me. Let me know when you're over
Did you buy the standard ones Arsey ??
Alu panniers ordered.

What standard ones ?
Panniers !!
I think these are useful. We can see that the Honda panniers look shite.![]()
More than. Dreadful considering the rest of the bike bar foot pegs and rear brake lever looks pretty good in the flesh. I will test ride one but those panniers really do look like an old dewalt drill box. They even have the same clasps.

Actually I think they are fine !! Had a good look at them when I was offered a set for under £300 and they are like varios that are fixed-very tough plastic but also very light and they won't leak as they are sold by Honda!
I already have the OE panniers which I got at a substantial discount but they are rather shite so I've ordered a set of Bumots

As the standard ones are plastic and not aluminium, the answer is no !

Do you want to sell the OE ones ?

Job done . Bumots are VERY well made. Frames are powder coated
These are frozen grey but also come in black or silver and there are 2 different top boxes should you want to add that.
My panniers are WIDE but I need enough storage for 2 weeks away with girlie pillion in tow. These are 45/41 litre but you can get 40/36 litre option.I plan to use them on a different bike ]
They do indeed look well made , however, I do think you have too many colours going on there now! Black panniers I reckon would have been a better look. Each to his own though. Remember it a vain thing this biking malarky![]()
OK, here's the condensed version.....the bike is smoother, sharper acceleration and top gear roll-ons feel much more.....gutsy. The bike was running horrendously lean before Geoff installed his magic pixie dust and was occasionally mis-firing to the trained ear. Personally, I put the Arrow on for looks more than anything else, but I can honestly say it feels like I've got a different engine now after my visit to Hilltop.

+1 for Geoff, he really does know his stuff, unlike some![]()
