Africa Twin is HERE !!!

I think these are useful. We can see that the Honda panniers look shite.:D

More than :agree:agree . Dreadful considering the rest of the bike bar foot pegs and rear brake lever looks pretty good in the flesh. I will test ride one but those panniers really do look like an old dewalt drill box. They even have the same clasps.:blast

Actually I think they are fine !! Had a good look at them when I was offered a set for under £300 and they are like varios that are fixed-very tough plastic but also very light and they won't leak as they are sold by Honda!

I already have the OE panniers which I got at a substantial discount but they are rather shite so I've ordered a set of Bumots

Good to see that reality is finally catching up with you :D:D

As the standard ones are plastic and not aluminium, the answer is no !

Do you want to sell the OE ones ?

Let me know a price mate. I did order a set from the dealer but got messed about on delivery so cancelled them, just put the std tyres and std headers back on mine for the trip as I need to make some sort of heat shield burnt the Rukka troos again !! thought id see the Std tyres out on this trip then change them back to the TKCs

Would deffo buy the panniers if we can do a deal
Rob

Job done . Bumots are VERY well made. Frames are powder coated and panniers look better than Mules to me and MUCH cheaper.
Took an hour to fit-all very simple with two 20mm holes needed to be drilled in upper rear mudguard but template supplied so easy. The frames fit very well and are rock solid.Panniers fit very quickly and firmly. So pleased I didn't spend nearly double on Metal Mules.
These are frozen grey but also come in black or silver and there are 2 different top boxes should you want to add that.
My panniers are WIDE but I need enough storage for 2 weeks away with girlie pillion in tow. These are 45/41 litre but you can get 40/36 litre option.I plan to use them on a different bike next year so will just need to buy the appropriate frames.
Buy with confidence from Jonathan at Rugged Roads !

They do indeed look well made , however, I do think you have too many colours going on there now! Black panniers I reckon would have been a better look. Each to his own though. Remember it a vain thing this biking malarky:thumb

OK, here's the condensed version.....the bike is smoother, sharper acceleration and top gear roll-ons feel much more.....gutsy. The bike was running horrendously lean before Geoff installed his magic pixie dust and was occasionally mis-firing to the trained ear. Personally, I put the Arrow on for looks more than anything else, but I can honestly say it feels like I've got a different engine now after my visit to Hilltop.

Don't let engineer read that!:D

+1 for Geoff, he really does know his stuff :thumb
