Africa Twin is HERE !!!

Thorpe says....

“We looked into it and decided to race the Africa Twin. Sure, as a race team (Buildbase Honda MX team) we have our riders that are looking for a win, so we will try not to get in their way, but for Stephen and I it’s about showcasing the Africa Twin and having some fun. Clearly we won’t be out there to win, as we will be just trying to survive.”

Fun and survive......:beerjug:

I'm sure they're effective but I definitely prefer the bike scaffolding free.

Holan scaffolding is far nicer. The 'light rails' (they won't call them crash bars) that Honda supply are bloody awful. Great bike (I own one) let down by rubbish accessories.

I fitted the Givi bars to mine
Not impressed at all
They offered plenty of protection ...But made the bike vibrate
It's silky smooth standard and that's how i like it so took the bars off and sold them
If you look at the OE Honda bars they are rubber mounted...so although they may not be that strong some thought has gone into them
I bet a lot of other after market bars suffer from the same problem

Me too....only bike I've ever put crashbars on was my 12GS. The ones I've heard the best feedback about are an Australian made set from a company called Outback Motortek.
