I have one of the above fitted to my 2002 R1150GS. I recently removed the inner and outer sump guard and when refitting could not rememebr if the bottom edge of the front engine cover fits inside the sump guard or outside of the sump guard. It seems common sense for it to fit on the outside off the sump guard to deflect all stones etc away without the risk of small items getting between the protector and the sump guard. I just wonder if you more experienced owners could advise. many thanks.
