BMW r1200gs 2012. I fitted an aftermarket LED headlight unit to my 2012 r1200gsa. Now I am getting a" LampF" fault code showing in the information screen, anyone know how to clear the code and will it do any harm to the bike if I just run with the code?

Sometimes when riding they clear themselves.
After market light units work on a different electric load (usually lower) which upsets the system and it throws up an error.

I did the same and got the LAMPF code up for the first couple of times I rode it but it cleared itself after that and has been good for just over a year now.
Make sure the small sidelight connector is correctly sitting in the new lamps wiring loom.
