Had my WC for 12 months now but i am finding with a standard screen and my Tour X if I am not careful the wind wants to rip my head off. Looking for the best protection as I like to ride with visor up. Advice on screens please

The GSA screen isn't high enough for riding with an open visor, at least if you're not midget sized and just need to GSA to look over vehicles in front of you ...

It also buffets pretty badly when put in the highest position. The best screen I found so far is the MRA Vario Touring Screen with the adjustable lip.

I've got a Givi Highflow screen on order from Nippy Normans. Hopefully being delivered this weekend..... i'll post an update as and when.

Possibly try a wunderlich screen spolier, its very adjustable so i think it should sort your problem. Mines been a good buy and i can ride with the visor up on the lowest setting.

Puig do a touring screen which is a fair bit taller than the GSA screen. Have just bought one but yet to fit it.

How tall are you ? Is that fitted to the LC with a standard seat ?

I am 6'2 and have the seat on its highest of the two settings. The fitting instructions are flawed - the screws i would say do up till just tight then a tiny nip or you risk cracking the wunderlich screen part. They recommend you use thread lock anyway.

On the pictures it is on the bottom/lowest setting, but does adjust for angle and for height about 1 inch.

I found a big improvement with a NN "High and Wide". I'm 5'10 with 31.5 insde leg. Remember. though, that helmets play a big part in the final success. My Schuberth is quieter than my Arai.

Cheers guys for the advice. I have just ordered a Puig ( only cause it looks nice) and I will keep you advised once fitted.

I've just fitted the givi highflow screen. It's certainly bigger that's for sure. In fact in its lowest position I'm just about looking over the top. In the highest position I'm definitely looking through it. It doesn't look too bad in the lowest setting. Once adjusted to suit, on the move the difference is definitely noticeable as all wind noise and buffeting disappears. HOWEVER, there is so much wind pressure that it's virtually impossible to adjust at anything around 50mph +. Going out with a pillion tomorrow to see whether there is an improvement for the passenger....

I'm pretty happy with mine, although it flaps around a bit.

The Cymarc screen supports stop all that :) I picked my new TE up this morning, had a couple of hours farkling as I'd already bought a puig screen and used Mark's GSA kit, Puig tall screen is as solid now as my old GSA.
