Just bought r1200gs to tour around France. I'm 6'2" so I would need a taller screen. Don't want to buy one blind, any recommendations would a big help.
how much taller is the GSA screen then the STD GS.if you have a "normal" GS, you could try a GSA screen - I have done that and I am happy, I am 6' 1"
this one https://www.slipscreens.co.uk/bmw-r1200gs-gsa-lc-440mm-touring-screen-6774/
looks great in light smoke tint, and not so large that it makes you feel "in" thr bike rather than "on" - unless you raise it up to full height.
I have also fitted Cymarc brackets as it did vibrate a bit over bumps...
+2 for the Puig... works too good!... very hot in summer!!
Slipstream says 44mm... But it appears to have a "lip" helping divert air.About 5cm but it´s hard to be precise as it has a v shape (higher on the corners)

Thanks, I'll take a look at that.at 6ft 3 in i find the standard screen is fine with a Touratech clip on screen extender. Its very easy to remove this for when its supe hot or abroad and want low screen with max air flow.
taking the peak off a helmet for long motorway runs totally eliminates any vibes
Thanks very much for the offer but thats not the way I want to go with a taller screen.Rock 10 - i have a Wunderlich Ergo screen extension still in it's box from Nippy Normans that I never used (I got an MRA screen instead - I'm 5ft 8). Not sure where you live but I'm in north London. If you're happy to come to mine you can have it for £80 cash before I put it on ebay. They retail new for £109 from NN.
