I have read a number of articles online about screens such as Wunderlich Ergo / Xtreme, Givi, Nippy Normans etc etc. Does anyone have any opinions / experience of what works well???

Aftermarket screens

Thanks Chris / Nobby. Pity I missed out on one of the Nippy Normans screens on e-bay the other day.

I use one of the Tourtech screen extensions on a 1200 GSA, at 6.2 it puts the airflow over the top of my helmet making for a very quiet ride. Its excellent for the long distance hauls and takes seconds to remove when things warm up.

Fitted Wunderlich Ergo screen Thursday just gone. experience so far pretty good. Well above legal speed cruising with visor up. Some flex on upper part of screen may need sorting later when horrible weather arrives. For me, the screen shape works better than some of the alternatives. Once fitted the screen will not go to the lowest BMW adjustment setting don't think that will be a problem tho' for me in practical terms.

i have a NN super high wide and that works very well - only problem is the mounting points are not the same shape as original so the plastic grommets u need to swap over are a loose fit.

it is however a great improvement over original.

Thanks for the opinions everyone; I am planning to look at a Z Technik from a supplier very local to me next.

screen to helmet

i to use the nn high wide screen , one thing i noticed with this is , when i use my full face the wind noise is more than when i use my open face motocross one with goggles , this being the peak on the helmet tends to funell the wind over the top of the helmet.
which seems funny as you would think a open face would be noisier, but its not .
