Aftermarket exhausts.

That does look nice, I like the double mounting strap.

What have you done with the exhaust servo flap thingy, it looks like yours is still connected?

Hi Dawg,

yes, the flappy thing is still fitted. Wanted to leave it in just in case I ever wanted to put the original can back on (maybe when selling). That's why you need to make sure you specify the 2010 onwards model when ordering from Beowulf as the earlier one won't fit.

I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that..... But IMHO. this mods looks ghastly & totally out of proportion...:eek:

Yep, that makes sense. My Beowulf arrived on Tuesday as promised. Went to fit it yesterday, wrong link pipe, bugger.

Still, they were very apologetic and even though I had ordered a 2010 link, they had sent the smaller earlier one. Should be with me today hopefully.

I have found their service to be superb so I'm sure they won't let you down. Let us know how you get on and perhaps show us a photo of the result. I am still impressed with this can, nice sound and the finish is very resiliant.
:)

Well, the correct link pipe arrived today as promised, good service as stated.

It fits very well and weighs a fraction of the standard one.
Its quieter than I expected, which is not a bad thing i guess as it is no louder on tickover than my original with the exhaust flap disabled.

However it does bark more through the rest of the rev range and burbles and pops on overrun which is what I was after.

I tried it first with the baffle in, but that really is too quiet so thats now out never to be ssen again.

All in all, very pleased. Well made, nice shape and a nice finish. I would put a photo on but I can never get them small enough.:D

Glad you're sorted. I left the baffle in mine as it's noisy enough for me. Makes a nice drone at speed and as I'm off for a 3000 mile tour in a week, I don't think my ears could cope with the baffle out. The burble on the over run is great.
Tip: Keep the baffle in a safe place for MOT time.:augie
