I got a MIVV full system. Really pleased with it. Got a good tone to it. Sounds like it should when under power. Quality very good. Definitely got more get up and go. Now getting better fuel economy. And looks good.

The can looks a long way back, with the support strap only just on the front of the can, is this because you have the MIVV headers as well? On their web site the strap is further back on the can (ie the can is further forward)

Not as far back as the Yoshi in the next post

a quick ? is there any difference in power when u just change the headers ? and if so is it not possible just to cut out the cat and get it rewelded saving a few quid. iv seen some second hand headers for sale and they look shit ud sill be gettin a free flowing exhaust with the cat removed ?

The principle power gains are from the new headers. Yes you can de-cat / de-Flap the standard headers but you can get either Mivv or GPR for around £300 so why bother? Both would be better than a cut and shut. :rob

Welsh baron it's loud not horrible but it is loud with baffle in so god knows what it is with it out
I havnt been out on bike time-weather -salt only used it once since I fitted it
I wanted to do a drive by video when I go out next.
Looks and size and weight are miles better than std can

I just ordered the remus headers,
Interested in the potential benefits as allready hilltop mapped,
Staying with standard silencer for now, will it sound any different ??
Assuming just take the exhaust flap cables off at the servo,
Roamer,

Roamer,

bit too late now, but you would of been better getting the headers then had the re-map:blast

I asked Geoff about the same issue and he said it will adjust and no need to worry:D

Thanks,, i had it done at hilltop 2 years ago,
Doing it in stages, dont mind the standard can, a little more rasp without the cat and any gains on power delivery will be good,
Roamer
