Has anyone put these on their 1250.
I’ve just got mine and usually do it to every bike I get.

I’m also putting a after market exhaust as well.
Is it worth doing, is the difference noticeable. It was on my other bikes. ]

Does changing the end can make much difference to the sound? Or is the noise regulated by the cat?

Ive got a full system on mine, i went with some remus decat headers and i have a Lextek end can. Most notable differance has to be the noise its a lower deeper sound, i bloody love it.
Because the exhaust valve and cable gubbins go with the headers you have to buy a servo buddy from skrutnet that you plug in its place (About £45) this keeps your ecu happy and no warning signs on the dash.
Definetly more torque low down as when were on bumpier roads my front wheels always coming up :okay

Hi, Do the Remus headers still have the sensor after the cat or are there just the front two. Do you any engine check light on. Have you had it mapped after fitting full system.
Thanks in advance Phil

One of my mates bought a 2018 1200GSA off here last year and it came with a full titanium Akropovic system fitted from the dealer - it had turned nicely blue and sounds amazing. It was his second GSA and reckoned that the increase in power / smooth delivery of same was noticeable with the full system

I appreciate that system isn’t cheap (circa £2K new and fitted) but it certainly looks and sounds great.

Its not great. I came from a Harley with 2x 4 inch pipes so its a bit feeble to me.:augie
I have a 350mm beuwulf can with the baffles out and its not as loud as i want.

Yes has all three sensors, no engine check lights as i have the servo buddy( but i do belive even without the servo buddy the ecu sorts itself out after 60 miles or so) and i did get it hilltopped but the fuelling on the 1250 is that good i wouldnt even bother and save a few quid! :beerjug:

Cheers for this. Take care and enjoy.
