I am going to fit some aftermarket heated handlebar grips to my 1100, what are the experiences of the collective?

I'm assuming your bike doesn't have them currently? If not then the OE kit is the easiest option sort of retro fit as opposed to aftermarket.
That was the route I went down with my 1100. Motoworks sell the kit and all the wiring is there under your tank ready and waiting.
Toasty paws in no time:)

I've always used heated grips from winding roads - neat switch /2 stage/ easy fit and toasty :D

Got new Oxford Sports Hotgrips on the Tenere.
Easy to fit.
Not bulky to grip, and softer rubber than the older Oxfords.
£60 off ebay.

I have ...

... a set of (presumably the older type) Oxford grips in the garage, forlornly waiting to go on eBay. Yours for £20 posted :nenau
