Definitely seems to be trickier on this new bike. I have the SW Motech adventure rack fitted which obviously meant I needed to remove the OEM one. Fits great. My Lone Rider pannier racks arrived this morning and as I feared the rear mounting point for the pannier racks fouls one of the cross members/braces of the SW Motech rear rack so fitting together is a no no.
I have a feeling this might be the case with the Bumot ones too so it seems it's a bit harder to "mix n match".
I'm sure this won't come as a surprise to many, but I was kinda hoping the mounting options wouldn't mean you'd have to stick to one brand entirely. On the old bike I had SW Motech top box and rack with the OEM pannier racks.
Gonna either have to go all one brand, or go OEM rear rack with either the Vario top box or go the Givi route, then I can have the Lone Rider pannier racks installed.
