Currently looking for options to replace the controls on my RT. I will be using motogadget m-switches and want something clean and uncluttered for the controls. With the throttle, im not sure whether to go for a single pull and use a splitter under the tank, or a dual pull and separate cable to each carb. There are some nice options from a manufacturer called 'domino' and I quite like the look of this:

For the clutch and brake levers, ideally need something with a handlebar mounted master cylinder for the front brake (my rear is drum), and a simple matching cable pull for the clutch. Im seeing plenty of options on ebay but most seem to be cheap chinese universal jobs and when brakes are involved im not so keen to risk that. Any ideas?

I'd also pass on the universal ones on eBay.

I put one on my NX650 and the stopping power was shite, I ended up buying a used Brembo unit that is the dogs. I nearly went over the bars with the first big handful.

A trip down to a friendly bike breaker is always useful, take your bars and have a rummage through what they've got. I got the Brembo master cylinder, all the banjo's, fittings and matching clutch lever for under £50.00.

thanks ian. good idea about having a rummage at a breakers, as there are other things I could do with. now to find one locally ;)

Paul thanks very much for the link. Looks to be exactly what im after, the magura master cylinder is exactly the style i want and they have a matching clutch lever. The master comes in 13 and 16mm piston bores, however IIRC the dual disc monolevers like mine had a 14mm piston MC. I have read up a bit about the effect of larger/smaller pistons and would prefer a firmer feel than more travel in the lever, so im swaying towards 16mm, though cant work out whether thats going to be too much. Of course going up 2mm is a bigger difference than going down 1mm, but having had no experience in this I dont know how pronounced the change would be. Has anyone any experience either way?
