Probably a daft question but what is the AGM battery?

Absorbed Glass Mat batteries have a higher discharge rate, greater 'Depth of Discharge' capability, higher cycle capacity and a couple more minor USPs ie non-spill, works upside down, can be smaller footprint etc etc.

Also they cost more..

15% DOD 2200 cycles
25% DOD 1700 cycles
50% DOD 900 cycles
80% DOD 600 cycles
