I went with my Brother and a couple of mates to the World Superbike at Magny Cours over the last weekend. A recent trip to the Ring in which all the return riding was done in one hit made me realise the GS seat is not the best in the world when it comes to very long days in the saddle.
So this time I fitted an Air-Hawk2 seat pad on the suggestion of one of the guys on the trip, and I have to say it was an absolute revelation. For anyone who's never heard of them they have a number of air cells which you inflate just enough and they spread the pressure, taking it off the main points on your ass and allowing for pain free riding over long periods.
This one is now an essential part of my biking kit, and I won't be going away without it!
