Air head gathering

I was in the pub earlier with tufty,
We got chatting about a gathering of airheads,with a view to finding suitable venues etc.
Shout up,obviously dates/venues dependant if this would be of interest!
I was thinking along the lines of a venue with a good indoor space ,camping and hard standing for motor homes etc,
Poss a school in the summer hols,
Would a £50 ticket be out of the ball park?
If 100 attended that would be a good fundraiser for said venue..
Let me know your thoughts and if it looks positive I’ll approach other clubs/ forums

I’d be up for that. As you say, usual caveat re location/dates (eg already committed to an Airhead meet the last week of July plus the ABR fest) Could be a busy Summer…

Not sure if you are aware, but the airhead association (facebook group) already organise airhead meets. The last few years it has been at Sammy Millers in the New Forest, think last year there were over 130 bikes there. This year, there is an airhead meet at the National Motorcycle Museum on the 20th July, then on the Monday to Friday an Airhead trip to Northumberland staying in a holiday park with ride outs.

There are some members from the facebook group on here, but the group has around 3.5k members the admin of the group certainly doesn't belong to this forum. Think they have a sub group for GS only airheads as well

I’m interested in joining a gathering of our old steeds, depending on date and location.

I don’t camp anymore so it would have to be comfy if it’s an overnighter

I don’t do Facebook so was unaware of the existence of the Airhead Association and anything they organise

Airheads very welcome to my summer party in August. We did run the original Airhead Wee kends in Devon. Now in South West France.
Has all the required facilities,
Massive workshop
Lots of space for camping (17 acres)
Outdoor kitchen area with resident chef ( Sumprat).
Large swimming pool.
Excellent roads and scenery
