The ZZR600 will come up high at lower revs and stay high, its better to stand up on them and keep the wheelies at lower speed but the 11 needs you to grip the tank with yer knees or you`lll be of after about 80-90mph, leaning your chest in and bending at the elbows gives better control. Still practicing with the GS and will get there. Still hoping some tips will come thru....:augie

i just cling on and hope i dont get flicked off-thats a fairly obvious tip though.

Wheelying the GS is quite tricky and takes some getting used to, as I find the torque reaction pulls the bike to the right.:eek: So i have to lean to the left a bit to counter balance this.
I can loft the front and keep it up easy in first gear just off the throttle. But I can’t seem get her up in second yet.:augie I guess I need to bounce it and use the clutch.

try going uphill in 2nd, no clutch....just twist and pop, makes the descent a bit smoother too. Little bit at a time till yer comfy with it.:bounce1
