mine did a tour to the back sea then round austria the other month, for £7 quid, im happy
Six year old plastic Airhawk still going strong ................
Except it will last a few weeks of serious use only.
Buy one for a weeks trip, buy two for a fortnight.
To be fair, having a tosser bouncing up and down on them for days at a time is not what they were designed for. I know lots of people (including me - I've had 3) who've used them, don't know anyone who's still got a functioning example.

1 lasted me around 4000/5000 miles, thats ok by me for 7 quid, ill just buy 4 at a time
how many can you buy for an airhawks price?

Many thanks to the pathfinders for posting-up about the Putnams seat.

My method of attachment is to use an old neoprene weight-lifters belt.
Outer colour is black and it almost obscures the Stadium. Adjustable with velcro (under seat).

Had two Putnams, both leaked after a couple of uses. Sent them an e-mail informing them of my experience, but did not even receive an acknowledgement. I'm looking to the Airhawk next.
I had two fail and they replaced them immediately without asking for return of the original or proof of purchase.
They did suggest that using them on a bike wasn't what they were designed for, but still replaced them without quibble.

How about a Thermarest seat cushion? Around £20-25 mark. I've used their self inflating mats for 30 years without problems.

I think i am on the 5th putnams stadium seat
first one lasted a few rides - then failed on a long trip
thought i would mail and moan got sent another - that failed very quickly
this went on and on they seem happy to send freebies out but its just a pain
i have given up on this seat as a crap product - eben put some of that instant seal puncture stuff in - worked for a while
I just think the quality is crap, you may be lucky and get a good one
i just wish they would double the price and make them leak free
think i will splash the cash on the airhalk - i was very keen to avoid this but the shit quality has just to much for me !
