amazon

hi you can now get this seat on amazon for £6 odd. will let you know what its like

I've now had two from the supplier and they were both not a patch on my old airhawk. The cheap cushions stayed inflated for an hour at best before going completely flat. The airhawk was 10x more expensive but it lasted two years and stayed inflated for as long as I wanted.

The supplier has refunded my money and I'm currently saving for another airhawk :augie

unlucky, my putnams has lasted over a year now, not even had to put extra air in

my putnams has been used and abused and still has air in it - so good it delayed me buying or doing anything else :thumb2

I bought two last year, and recently one has started to go down after 30 mins or so. Cant really complain for the money though - likely to buy another pair this winter.

Just a little follow-up on this.

Seems the mirage of an Airhawk for £7 was just that. I've had three (all returned and replaced because they deflated).

I was on a trip recently where 4 bikes had them (including mine) - they all deflated during the same week. All less than 6 months old.

I guess you get what you pay for.

Strange to hear of the deflations.
I am still using the one I purchased originally and have had no such problems:nenau

+1 had 2 and no good:(

Just out of interest, how much do those of you that have had problems weigh? I am not suggesting that it may be the cause, but it would be interesting to know if there is a common denominator so the manufacturers could be informed.
I weigh just under 13 stone and have had no problems.

Under 12 stone and both deflate as i said. seems on mine the air escapes from the parts which are glued together sort of like where buttons would go on a cushion...
