Airhead Fuel gauge and Oil pressure gauge

Spotted that someone had a fuel gauge and an oil pressure on a GS over on ADVrider. Post #117 and #44 on http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=839648&page=8 Seems like a good idea, albeit adding complication to a machine that people like for its simplicity. I wonder if anyone here has done this?

Oil pressure gauge sensor pipework looks like a candidate for getting snagged and broken in a fall off road though.

I had a similar oil pressure guage set-up on a previous airhead...took the lot off and binned it !! Looked awful when fitted and very cumbersome. Nice though, to see others fettling away on their bikes !

If you get an oil pressure gauge which has a integral oil light the pressure sender can be fitted directly into the warning light hole, which makes for a much neater installation.
