Anyone offer up some thoughts on this please?
Not sure if i am missing some parts to fit a clear GSPD screen i've just bought, but it's not happening because the profile of the new screen is different from the one currently fitted, so i cant fasten it on.
The current screen is smoked and part numbes are 46.63-2.303.829/46.63-2.315.149 this screen fits on with the 4 screws. My new screen is slightly different in as much as the top two fastenings are slits so you can tilt the screen when fitted, but this screen is wider than the plastic cowl where the fitting threads are on the bike, and the angle of the plastic screen seems slightly different as well. The part number for the clear screen is 4663 2307 215. It looks like maybe different mountings are needed to make wider and change the angle where the thread meets the hole in the screen. Anyone come up against this at all ? The bike is a 1989 GSPD, and the photo on the add actually shows it fitted to a bike, thats assuming that it's the same screen of course.
