I've always used and recommended Peter James for my GS insurance. The price has crept up in the past couple of years but what the heck. This year, the renewal was a hefty increase to £140.
I did the comparison sites and Carole Nash came out at £80 for their "Essentials" cover. That simply means none of the extra stuff like breakdown cover, legal etc. Aegeas was the underwriter and excess was zero. Plus 3rd party cover for riding other bikes, cover riding abroad etc.
I completed a valuation form and sent in pics and got agreed value too.
The only downside seems to be admin charges for making changes. I won't be making any.
I thought I'd share.
