Sorry I can't be of more help. Can I just double check that these ..
90/90 x 21 and 130/80 x 17
are the right sized tyres for an 80PD so that I can order some knobblies before I go away in the morning for the week.

There simply is NO TKC in the right size for the rear G/S tyre.
Don't get a 130, it will rub against the swingarm.
Your best option is the Pirelli Rallycross:
Front: 90/90-21
Rear: 120/90-18
A monolever is not a paralever.
Don't look at R80GS / R100GS / R80GS Basic tyres, they are different!
The rear tyre on those models can be 130 wide.
Cheers,
Michel
Actually a 140/80 fits on the monolever ok , at least the Mitas E08 I have on my R100GS does.
The E08s are the best tire I have tried - the tread is a bit more open than the Tourances etc and this gives them more grip on the gravel roads I ride on.
They have a rounded profile too which gives better turn in , and wet and dry grip is tops too.
Only problem that you might have is that they toss a bit mud and dirt up on to the bike, unlike the TKC s which to the best of my knowledge have never thrown the slightest bit of dirt on to a bike.

I've been out playing again this AM ask Sid Horman he was a HD pillion passenger at Hatherleigh14.19 blimey the nurse was late waking you up this morning.
