I am interested to find out how many Airhead owners on this Forum live in France

If you do and would like to post info under this thread with you department number.....maybe it is feasible that we can meet up in the summer.

I am usually in SW France, April to Sept, most of the time and also October/Nov until it gets cold

I am near Ste Foy La Grande - 33790

Cheers

I am coming and going a lot to the Charente Maritime at the moment. I won't be living in France fulltime but I expect I expect to be spending a lot of time there in the future. Basic, W124 and Rowe Hillmaster owner  :D

I have a W124 Estate - I don't live there full time, but am there about 6 or 7 months a year.
Even with the fall in sterling it is still worth it

What is your department number

What is a Rowe Hillmaster

Abjat-s-Bandiat 24300. You near Marmande? St Foy seems to have dissapeared from my Garmin map:mad:

John

Bordeaux to Bergerac.......west to east road........two thirds the way along.......we are south of the river towards Pellegrue

next department to you

I travel around france for a couple of months a year, so you may meet me and Barb in our Wobblybox.....:D

Barbi is always on the cards in July and August

And I confess I've done just that.
Currently in the Charente, 16, full time but next year expect to do as BillN does and spend warmer weather in la belle and cooler times in Angleterre although may mix and match a bit but haven't yet bought a house back in Angleterre and a little confession 'cos I haven't got one of them Airhead models, but a little 650GS although it is obviously in the fast yellow colours.
So I shouldn't really post on this topic but I have now and one day, maybe, I may even progress to the Airhead club.
Edit PS In my defence I search using new posts so I'd more or less finished my post before I realised it was intended for Airhead types so apologies.

I am in dept 17

You're a one trick pony aren't ya? :D

That is an Award Winning example of a very rare truck I'll have you know :rob

Thanks Judge: I am back at the Great Dorset steam fair in Sept, maybe see you there again :thumb2

Apparently Devons is only 1 of 2 Artic tractor units left in existence....

That his bright yellow baby :thumb2

There are always rumours of another artic but no one has ever seen it proff, so mine is probably the only one.

Buy you a pint at the airhead weekend if you can tell what this trailer is? It's what the Rowe used to pull, I have to get round to renovating it sometime :blast :D

Crikey Bob you kept that one quiet

11000 miles, original and one owner from new - crikey it'll be better than the Euro Millions on a rollover :D

It is on my profile Andy, always been there!
Right now it has got lots of crap dangling on it just now, maybe I will take a look at it this winter. I did come across the tool roll the other day, all still there I guess! Got lots of goodies kicking around from various airheads, big tank, cans from Arcueil Moto, marzochis, fd extension etc. Only ever used that bike on trips as I had other bikes for running around Nairobi on and real dirt bikes for the off road stuff. Must have a pic of it somewhere. When I bought a new 100GS I didn't get around to selling this one.Must have some pics of it somewhere.....
