On my route to the Alps yesterday just spotted this airhead workshop and outside was for bikes waiting to be restored. However the owner had an R90 S attached to a sidecar for winter riding

I think its a Hoske tank. So we have established that in fact almost nothing about that bike is an R90s !

One of the guys on advrider bought one. The tank lobes were at different heights. I think all your buying is a starting point
