I had a Gemini D/A on a 900 Diversion.

I now have a 100GS outfit.
Will post some pics when I come back.
I'm off to catch the ferry now as I'm on my way to the Tauerntreffen in Austria.

And I'll be at The Dragon Rally.

Jethro

Nice one Jethro, look forward to seeing your pics. :thumb2

Hydraulic system ,there is a seperate brake cylinder for the chair and is connected to foot brake . Any ideas .

Is that one or two master cilinders?
If this problem was not there from the beginning you could check the rear brake whether it functions 100%. Also the chair brake could be sticking a bit, which makes it come in sooner.
If this discrepancy was always there though, it can be that your chair brake is a little overdimensioned compared to your rear brake. If so, the easiest way out is to put a proportioning valve in the brakeline to the chair (a neat way way to make your chairbrake adjustable for different loads and conditions btw). Or, in the case of 2 master cilinders you could opt for a slightly smaller master cilinder for the chairbrake, or a brake bias-set.
On the other hand, if you never noticed it and it has never troubled you before........:augie

@Geno

Haven't got a clue what your level in "spannering" is. Brakes are of the utmost importance, but no black magic. If you have the knowledge to check the system yourself, convince yourself. If you don't trust what you got and haven't got the knowledge, let somebody check it who knows. (that's called "servicing" I think ;)) But I know from experience that without any adjustable components it's difficult to get a completely balanced brake setup and bias under all circumstances. Sidecars and compromises are close relatives :cool:

Oh dear this seems worrying the bloke that owns this one is called Jethro

I don't have such a sticker on my outfit and I'm very glad I don't need it. I just love sidecars ;) and it's just for the better, that sidecars enable people who can't ride a solobike to ride anyway

Could we please get back on-topic. I love the pics and stories of the outfits and think this kind of discussion should be held in the pub or so.

Bike and sidecar went past me the other day, the sidecar was the biggest I've ever seen, and as it went past, I could see that the sidecar was fitted out as a hearse :eek: with all the bits and paraphernalia inside. - Didn't clock what bike it was.

I have wiped the number plate, but it is a 'C' registration - as in 'AAA 999 C' which I think makes it a 1965 reg.
