Hi

I have a problem.

I have AA Akrapovic can on my GS LC. I put the baffles in 2 days ago just to test the difference. Now one of the baffle bolts won't come out. It is proper stuck and getting chewed up with me trying to force it out.

Any idea how I might get it to budge. I'm afraid it's too chewed up now to budge.

Thanks.

Try and make a notch in the side of the bolt with a Drimel or small hacksaw blade
and tap gently with a screwdriver.

Rex series Snap on Extractors, used them many times, not expensive & wont break off in hole.
Otherwise a small cape chisel on the outer edge of bolt should jar it loose enough to easily unscrew..
Good luck..

Take the can off and push a brush shaft or similar in from the other end .If you keep knocking it you will usually get it to shift.Use something wooden so it won't damage the can itself.

Get someone with a mig to weld a nut onto the top of your bolt, heat from the weld will/should allow you to unscrew it easily

I have a feeling the bolt is soft stainless, think that's why it's rounded in the first place, & it's very small to get a mig torch in..

Got it out

Took a bit of the rounded edge off with the a grinder bit in the drill. Then managed to turn the nut with these needle point clamps. Lots off effort but worth it.

Thanks for all the suggestions

Maybe but if you read the post the bolt is rounded and he needs to remove the bolt
