Fitted a full Akrapovic Ti system to my 2015GSA this morning and can't believe what a difference it has made, totally changed the character of the bike, made me grin all afternoon!
I had been thinking about doing this for a while and kept putting it off but now I wish I'd done it a year ago........And the sound is amazing:thumb
Got the bike booked in at Hilltop on October 3rd and really can't imagine how Geoff is going to improve what I have already, but can't wait to find out:thumb

Had mine fitted before I took delivery. It's going nice and blue now. And, yes, it certainly wakes the bike up! :green gri

First service on Friday, Hilltop shortly after.:beerjug:

Nice and blue can mean nice and too lean, after it's been to Geoff's it will eventually end up nice and straw! :thumb

Titanium headers are meant to go blue.:rob

But yes, it will be having a "tweak" after the first service. :green gri

Reflectors on the forks. Are they all like that now?
Have we gone all Californian?

So now its, look at my Triple Black......... with a bit of orange.
Can you not remove them, they do detract from the stealth look, do they make you wear hiviz as well?

I'm sure they're just on with double sided tape, so should be easy to remove them.:thumb

I've already got the Akro silencer... How much of a difference do the headers make (noise and performance) and is it necessary to get a remap?

Be interested to read your thoughts after you've had it mapped. Looking to do the same to mine when it arrives.

Did your dealer fit the headers? Any warranty issues or concerns do you think?

Ah so it's a triple black with a hint of blue and a splash of orange!

Nice one Nutty, We'll want a full report on the results of the Hilltop effect, I was told that we can remove the orange reflectors easily as it's only a double sided sponge tape. I've left mine on for the time being.

Mine is the E4 and the pipes are straw coloured. but that's on standard headers, not Ti. :thumb2

I removed mine.. came off easy and didn't leave any marks :thumb2

I have an Akro can and I have visited Geoff for his magic last year of which I'm very impressed. I have been contemplating fitting the Akrapovic headers but how much loader is it with a full system?

They're a fair bit louder, but nothing intrusive, if you wear earplugs. As to the performance, they free the engine up a bit more. I've ridden dealer bikes with standard systems, and there's a noticeable difference in performance.

My dealer fitted the headers, and didn't mention anything about warranty implications.

Had mine on fitted by the dealer after taking it off my 14 plate.no hilltop or adjustment.just from the go it flew and 6k miles without any issue.sounds fantastic especially going over the simplon pass!!

All you guys with Akrapovic end cans - have you removed the baffle pipe ? I was told it was bloody awkward to do...any comments ?

Reflectors now removed, and it looks much better without.:beerjug:

Absolutely! The dealer removed the baffles for me, as they knew I didn't want them!:green gri
