How much poping is normal?
My bike pops a bit on over run and when it hits the revlimiter.
My bike has a full Akra system.

All you guys with Akrapovic end cans - have you removed the baffle pipe ? I was told it was bloody awkward to do...any comments ?

Tried and gave up. Tack welds hold the screws in and even with a dremel onto the welds they're not budging. Loud enough though

Sounds unusual - bit (not a lot) of brute force with an allen key and mine unscrewed nicely. Careful not to drop the screw down the can though.... I was surprised to see that they dont have the long pipe baffle of old - just end pieces.....I hope so anyway as that's all I've removed ! (does match Akra schematic though).

Sounds fruity now - surprising how the little end pieces made such a difference.

I've read that the full system with headers fitted can unleash between 6-8BHP! seems a worthwhile mod if you like the sound. I can't find a sound file anywhere!

It will unleash more BHP, but you'll need a remap to get the full benefit. You'll hear mine next time I'm in Wiltshire!

I think the standard pipe sounds fine.

Just wondering if you advise your insurance company:

1) that you have a full aftermarket exhaust system fitted.

2) that you have removed the orange reflector from the fork leg. I ask this as it seems that it comes with the Euro 4 requirements so therefore a legal requirement.
