The only difference between the euro 3 and 4 silencer is that you are able to remove the baffle on the euro 3. New legislation means that the baffle has to be fixed and in order to remove it you would damage the exhaust.
If the baffle is left in your euro 3 silencer it is the same as a euro 4

Is this pic taken at the Adventure Bike Shop in Acton? I think I admired the exhaust when I saw it there in mid Feb..... but without the top box on.... could be mistaken

Yes, it was taken at the shop in Feb, but must have been another you saw, mine always has the top box fitted.

Actually, it did have a box, because I remember it had Alps stickers on it, and a cool black tank protector.... if it was yours...
