Akrapovic race system questions???

thinking of getting one of these for my 04 1200gs. does anyone have any experience of one. do they require remapping? does it effect the fuelling, any issues on power increase decrease etc. also the noise is it too loud or just right. with motech(bmw) engine bars does it fit ok? very interested in getting one but need these questions answered. thanks

I have this system on my 07 ADV and I love it.

Fit is excellent and I believe is ok with all types of bars and luggage racks etc.

Sound is fairly loud but not over the top - sounds fantastic!

Power increase is very noticable, especially in the mid-range, and gives a substantial boost. No tuning issues - the injection system sorts its self out.

Well reccomended for your bike.
