Akro Ti Header Pipe query...

Have been thinking about getting a set of headers and dropping the cat (prison talk?!?...), a full set has just gone up for sale on here and the seller is willing to split which is good but my query is... do they all turn that skanky brown or have these just done a lot of miles without being cleaned?

May just stick with my standard chromed (and cat'd) pipes if the chances they this is the normal finish after a few miles.

I'm not a fair weather rider, and I like the overall 'dirty GS' look but this appears to go way beyond dirt/normal use

My stainless pipes are brown (Mivv) but i've never washed them. Those look surprisingly black !

Stainless pipes normally go a golden colour after exposure to heat, not brown or black.
