After this years brilliant trip to the last frontier, I'm going to do it all again next year.

The 2026 trip report is here: https://www.ukgser.com/community/threads/alaska-and-the-yukon-2026-ride.552038/

Highlights to include:

Kenai Peninsular
Denali Highway and Mount Denali
Chena Hot Spings
Alcan Highway
Dawson City
Whitehorse
Skagway
Haines Junction
Destruction Bay
Wrangle Mountains
Valdez
Lake Louise

It's a 14 day (13 night) trip departing Anchorage on 1st August 2027 and returning on Saturday 14th August 2027. Great trip for solo riders or pillions as the riding is relatively easy although there will be some hard packed dirt.

The trip is on rental bikes and the choice will be fully equipped R1300GS's, R1250GS's. F900GS's and F800GS's so there should be something to suit everyone. Please note that neither the 1300's or 900's have top boxes so if you have a pillion, the 1250 will be the choice as there will be more storage room.

Anyone who has been on one of my trips knows I try and show you the very best of the area make your trip nice and easy.

It's a fantastic part of the world to ride as the scenery is jaw dropping and it's a trip you won't forget in a hurry!!

PM me for full details.

Is it possible for you to give a rough idea of what a trip like this would cost? While I'm not sure I'm physically up to it, I wouldn't want to rule it out except, perhaps, on cost. Your trip reports are calling to me.
