Alloy wheels - what fits?

I'm after a set of alloys for my '07 GS. Can anyone answer a couple of questions???

1. If I get a set of wheels from a non-ABS bike, can I fit the ABS rings or are there seperate wheels for ABS and non-ABS bikes?

2. Has anyone fitted a wheel on from an RT (17") ??? I see there's a couple on AdvRider, but I was hoping someone this side of the pond had tried it
