Alpinestar Vector Boots

Looking for a tall MX type boot. Has anyone tried or own these boots? If so, what are they like?

I've got a pair that I've had for over a year now. Very comfortable, warm but nowhere near waterproof and once wet the comfortable liner acts like a sponge.. and after a while of repeated soakings they kinda hum.

I found them to be a bit too bulky for the GS

I've had a pair of these for about a year. They took alot a fair bit of breaking in but, once done they're very comfortable. I have worn them on the GS but, generally keep them for trail riding as they aren't really suitable walking around when you get to where your going. If you do get some it's well worth buying spare straps as I've broken three so far. The only other problem is the plastic shin guard which melted on the 'zaust when I got trapped under the XR. Otherwise there easily the best MX/trail riding boot I've had and would definately buy another pair.

THe main difference between these and the tech range is that you cannot change as many parts...

If you wear out the sole you need new boots but on the tech range you can just take it to a cobbler and get the bit replaced..

At least that is my understanding.
