Trusty Alt-Berg high boots. Very comfy all year round protection. Good worn condition with little wear to soles.
One has scuff in the surface at the heel as I've shown in picture.

Price £55 posted UK

Bahnrider is the model name i believe…….

THE only boots you’ll ever need ( if you’re a size 8)
My Altberg boots will be getting replaced with Meindl boots when the soles wear out for the fourth time. They are only four years old and the leather is splitting (which it did after One year) on both boots. Altberg were not interested in replacements or repairs, instead offering to fit a taller rand which they then charged me for. So in four years they have been resoled three times, have had a replacement rand and the leather started splitting after one year of use. They told me I was walking too far in my walking boots!!! I cannot recommend and will not be buying Altberg boots in the future.

Sorry to hear that, personally I have always had a very good experience with Alt-bergs and their service. My other pair of the shorter Clubman Roadsters, have been resoled 3 times in the 15 years that I have worn them and never leaked at all despite constant Shetland weather and some hot European trips. Always looked after them and fed the leather well to keep them soft, only now replacing that other pair as the zips eventually wore out and they couldn't be repaired again. The ones for sale here are equally good and waterproof with plenty of wear left.

I have to say my experience with Altberg is the same as yours - very positive.

I too have a pair of Clubman Roadsters which must be 13 years old. Sent for repair to stitching and resole last year and came back good as new. Still waterproof and the most comfortable and practical boots I've ever owned. Treated regularly with Leder Gris.

Always had professional, quality service from their staff - either in their store at Richmond, at bike shows or on the phone. A top quality product made and sold by people who believe in them.

Yours are an absolute bargain and I'd buy them myself but I'm an 11.5!

GLWTS 👍

Had my clubman boots since 2002 and still good nick. They are the best
