Anyone tried to run your 1200 GS/GSA on 100/90-19 and 140/80-17? If so, what were your impressions?

I guess the tyre will end up with a flatter profile due to being stretched over a rim which is too wide for it. This may help off-road grip (in a straight line) as you get a flatter tyre surface on the ground but will wreck on road handling.
Stick to standard sizes I can't see here will be any cost saving on the smaller ones.
