Morning all. I've used Evernote for general note taking and planning for years, but this year they've lost their minds, and the price has gone up from a silly but bearable £60 to £120 a year, which is nonsense for a single user app like this.

I use it for:

Creating lists - like trip packing lists, trip jobs, etc. These can include documents like booking confirmations, and mix text and checklists
Notes, which can be stacked into notebooks - so information on bikes, cars, and anything else of interest
Pictures, diagrams etc can be included in any of the notes
Capturing web pages with useful info on them

I'm currently all Apple, so this syncs across my Mac and all the iOS devices

I've used OneNote, but I don't really use any MS stuff so I doubt that would work

Any nice apps that people use that are reasonably priced?

Evernote, good god that’s a blast from the past 🫣👍

I think OneNote would probable cut the mustard for your needs, and MS have improved their compatibility strides over the past few years. It’s still a subscription-based app unfortunately - though you do get access to the other suite of office apps.

Using apple notes now (used to have evernote). Notes has improved and has been working for me for a couple of years now

Thanks chaps, I will give Apple Notes a try.
I’ll need to seen if I can import the notes from Evernote too.
