Alternative to Nippy Normans Bottle for the GSA

Still beats me why everyone wants to lug oil around everywhere. I keep mine in the sump where it's always ready to be used.

Yet to need any on my travels, but I find garages quite handy for selling the stuff if I do.

More needless tack

Problem solved

Guys, just to let you know that Nippy Norman`s have sent me a replacement bottle to try and it`s perfect. It has a much stronger lid, has a more substantial lid liner/gasket rather than the silver paper one and the bottle is smaller in height which allows much easier access and removal.

I have no idea if this new one is now `mainstream` but if my feedback is of any interest to them then lets hope that it`s a problem now solved, in my humble opinion!

Top marks to NN - as far as I am concerned I couldn`t have asked for a better resolution of my problems with the original product. Well done NN :clap

Local garden equipment shop had a bottle lying around in his stores. Gave it to me for a £1.00.

Couple of CB radio thumb screws off ebay...job done..

never tried it but would one of those aluminium drinking bottles you get in outdoor shops not fit? Only cost a couple of quid and have the bling anodised aluminium factor.

you can get the rectangular bottles on eprey for 3 quid, 1litre size. i think when i looked they were under chainsaw oil bottle or fuel/oil mix bottle

cheers

Now I can understand our poor buggers needing to carry oil with them here in Africa.... however - surely you are all in civilised countries that sell oil around every corner :eek:

Far, far better to adapt a bottle to carry your spare tipple... something with a bit of wet canvas to keep it cool  :D
