Is the output from my alternator on my 1100 enough to power two sets of axillary lights, 2 x spots, 2 x fogs, Hella FF50's, without draining the battery. Would it be advisable to change the battery at the same time, if so, to what. There's nothing else plugged in other that a sat nav and the standard output on the starter motor cover which is never used.

are you planning to run the Aux lights all the time ?
what wattage are the lights ?
do you have heated grips ? does the bike have ABS ( I seem to remember that non-ABS bikes had smaller batterys, could be talking pish on that one though :) )

50w lamps but probably only running i set (spots) at any one time along with headlamp. Possibility in severe weather of running both pairs and headlamp. Bike has heated grips and is ABS model.

Lights

Use HID's much less current draw much better light.
