Has anyone done this event in the past?
Value for money?

Alternatively, having ridden the Pyrenees on the road a couple of times I would like a crack at doing it 'off road'. Someone once told me there was a high trail that you could travel from one end to the other?

All information....valid suggestions.. ....appreciated!

I done the event in 2002 and there were quite a few BMW's gs entered, i was on a KTM 400 at the time it is full of hard fast tracks and a bit of sand on the beach near Velencia

if you check the shalber web site you will get more info , not for the faint hearted and you need a road book reader and GPS

Phil, when you say 'not for the faint hearted'.....how does it stack up against the Cambrian or Hafren events in terms of difficulty.....other than it wont be absolutely pi$$ing down of course!
