Alu Luggage to fit GSA LC

Fellow riders, what are my options when it comes to fitting alu luggage on the standards BMW pannier frames on the K51 GSA LC?

Just fitted some today BMWs/Touratechs own don't think anything else fits standard GSA pannier frames you will have to change frames if you want a choice ie Givi etc unless someone can tell you otherwise, must say I was going to get something else but fitted they are rock solid and no issues 75+

I have a 2011 TC and got the oe BMW panniers I'm happy enough with them though if I was to be changing I would seriously consider the Bumot panniers. Have a search on advrider they get plenty of positive comments,sold in the uk by the adventure bike shop who are great to deal with

Tho obvious choise is the standard ones offerd by BMW. In my opinion thry are far too expensive for somthing that I'll use at most 2 or 3 weeks in the year. I'm looking at Alps from Motorworks. Not as strong as others but to spend 50 weeks under the bench in my garage? JJH

or save a search on eBay. I picked up a set of new BMW panniers with codeable locks for £450.

Keep an eye out for a 2nd hand set or ask a local member to lend his for the price of a nice bottle of whiskey.

This is a BS statement, there are numerous options for aluminium panniers with the STANDARD BMW frames. One example - Globescout panniers.

It's fair to say that most boxes will fit most racks with some kind of fitting kit or some bodging. JJH

The Bumot are direct fit as far as I can tell.

Guys, thanks for all your inputs. I'm the end it was the cost that sealed it for me. Picked up nearly new alu panniers for better price than the dealer or the web.
