Aluminium valve cover protectors -- ditch those crash bars

what are the aluminium ones made of ?

is it plastic ?

what colour is they ?

i don't want any though - i'm a timewaster.....:D

No but - yeah but - no but - yeah but

don't listen to them though :

Carbon - thats the future .......

4mm thick moulded - £120 pair

maybe

No, they'll cover more than the plastic, but not the top of the rocker cover :

Not a lot of bloody use to me then !

they'll cover the plastic spark plug cover - so you would have been OK :D :D

Touratech one's are cheaper

untill you damage one and have to throw it away and buy a new one ( same with crash bars) -- i will recondition my ones for £20 ish ( i'll have exchange sets ready to go as soon as you need one) - one fall off and your saving money.

Have you seen the T/T head guards :gosh

i could do those for £30 a pair

did Verns ever make it into production ? - mine will be along the lines of the american model - the price i mentioned is only a rough idea - hope to have a pair for my bike in a week or so, then i'll know a definate price and post a picture.

Are they ready yet? I want mine now! Are they ready yet? for a 12:D

So how to you get the plugs out ?

undo 3 caphead bolts -

or i may enlarge the centre aperture so you can remove the spark plug cover and plug without disturbing the protector -

i'll have a look and see how much there is to play with when MY prototypes arrive

So will there be a GS1200 Version...can we start saving our pennies for it???

You can't market these as Aluminium valve cover protectors.

You need a catchy product name.

Steptoenators?

Harison Guards?

Steptoetectors?

Potguards?

Covercovers?

Headgear?

What do you think :)
