I find the volume on my iPod insufficient with earplugs and motorway speeds (just the time I could do with it)

I was thinking of lashing up something with a (stereo) pair of these - would they do the job?

I'm guessing I just put them in the headphone line . . . . :nenau

Thanks for that.

In fact, by the time I've bought all the bits it doesn't work out much cheaper.
I like the bit where he says:
I will stand behind this amplifier be happy to repair it (at no charge) should anything ever go wrong.

People normally only say stuff like that when they know nothing will go wrong.

Cheers.

I liked the fact that he stuck a hand written note in the pack to me saying he hoped I enjoyed the amp, and thanks for the business:thumb

As you say he'll replace any that malfunction... that's confidence... and he got it to me quickly :) now 70% up the volume scale is good for 100 mph

i've just received an amplirider and my first impressions were good - well-constructed, no skimping on materials.

However, I find that at any volume level much above what my ipod can provide that the distortion is unacceptable

Anybody else have experience?

Thats your speker/earphone limits. What are you using? I run mine through the Autocom system and sound is great with loads of volume. I only need Amp turned up half way and thats with ear plugs in.:thumb
