Wondering about the idea of an event in the Spring, before those of us that might be going, do go off on a longer trip, and before main holidays.
A couple of nights somewhere you can camp or hotel, pubs that are worth going to, beer worth drinking and nice area.
Dent has been done, Portsoy is good but a long way for most.
Moffat is one option. Two campsites, good hotels and one is very bike friendly, plenty bars and great roads around.
