An event late April/early May

Moffat is a great suggestion. Us southerners will just have to suck it up and ride our pride and joy/mighty steed/adventure ready/never missed a beat/best colour bikes ALL the way there….or organise our own southern get together where shandy will be guaranteed to be available.

Google maps suggests it’s 408 miles from my house. What’s not to like…apart from the rain, cold, mist, camping….I’m up for it if plans allow.

Plenty of Starbucks en route too, what's not to like 😁

Moffat is a great pllace for motorcyclist’s.
But, the Buck hotel is booked many months in advance
Though that early in the season it may have room.
Lots of other pubs, hotels and b&b’s though.
One of the camp sites is caravan and camping club, so I’d be amazed if they would let
a group of bikers on.
The green frog would be the best option if that could be arranged somehow.
It has a great cafe on site that does a good breakfast.

The green frog have just replied suggesting the 25 of April weekend. As you say i think they'd be more suitable!

Whatever is organised you can't please everyone with dates, location, weather, etc etc!

All we can do is nominate a date and location and take it from there

Man up, its a GS ;) add the extra 200 odd and come up to Strontian , makes Moffat look easy

So, I've checked with the Green Frog and they're happy with 25 April.
The Buccleuch only has one room over the bank holiday so better on 25 April as well.
I'll put a thread up in the National Events section.
