After saying how good the Michelin Anakees were they've started to drop to bits!! Out for a blat yesterday stopped to talk to a mate l met & he noticed a problem with my rear tyre - fortunately.

One of the tread blocks on the side had "separated" latterally about half way down the block, you could easily peel it back with your finger, bit like a pocket on the tread. On futher examination there were three other areas where this seemed to be just starting.

Acording to ATS Retford, where I had them fitted there have been no other reports (Chris rang the tech dept @ Michelin) so now no bike till new tyre obtained, sunny dry day today & off work:mad:

Rode slowly home & removed wheel, picked up later from my home by Chris their M/C tyre fitter (top bloke)

Anyone else had any probs? If you've got Anakees fitted have a good look at 'em

Feedback Please!

Only one reply on this, Chris at ATS wanted to know any reports - all you anakee users happy? All fine & dandy? No probs? Or is everyone else STILL using the ubiquitous Tourance ;)

had one set last year and found them too soft ie cupped really quick and as you say looked like pads were peeling off the carcass, went back to trusted old tourances and still have no complaints
