Anatomy of the accident....

Everyone can have bad luck hitting a slick spot and then you are in god's hands...All you can do is stay relaxed and on the throttle and look where you want to go...If you still crash you had no chance. But here unfortunately it was rider error as the front had regained traction and a crash was averted until the rider applied the brakes and even the rear brake which is worse for obvious reasons as the rear brakes don't do much anyways except cause another fishtail and putting the bike in a straight trajectory instead of following the turn leaving the road leading to the unfortunate fall and injuries...The bike did not try to kill you but just did what it was told...The front slipped momentarily and regained traction from that moment on it was all rider error and the most common one applying the brakes into a turn instead of leaning leaving your lane hitting a ditch or worse an upcoming car...That is why it is good to ride in the dirt and crash because a slide will feel less scary then when it happens on the road.Where did the crash happen ? Looks like Africa to me...Last crash I had was in a turn where a car had dragged some sand on the road.My collarbone decided to poke through the skin...Took some Ductape to get the bone down and ride 120 miles to the next clinic to have it stitched up...Bone was not even broken was AC joint torn...12 month off wearing a clavicle brace...Such is life !

You still in SA? I have watched some of your videos. I don't think with the state of the roads, going by what it was last time I was in SA, that such speeds can be safely maintained now :D

Anyhow, in France or Germany you can still manage to drain a 30l tank in less than 200 miles :D Happy days.

Where does the name MirageGP comes from? Did you fly those zoom-doefs? We chopper guys called them that because of an Imp with tail number 555. Triple 5 was soon named cripple 5 :D

Don't mind boxer tissues. He has not yet had the right prescription :D
