Whilst doing the usual research , about the bits and tolerated wear ,
I find that there are two schools of thought on .

To Grease or Not to grease , That is the question..

One train of thought , reckon Grease it . The grease forms a barrier to
wear and makes transmission easier.

The other says , if you grease the Wear makes the grease form into
a paste , which after a while forms an abbrasive paste ? ..

I dont intend to own it for ever .
What says the masses ?

moly paste not moly grease same carrier just higher % of moly as used on honda pan splines not easy to get hold of.

Castrol Optimal Paste TA is as good as the Honda moly paste. Rated to 1100°C in harsh environments. Its a semi solid paste so doesn't fling off. I use it on gearbox splines and airhead exhaust collars.
